Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ulmer!!
This weekend two of my best friends Martha and Will got married!!! Martha and I have been best friends since freshman year at state!! We had such a good time at the wedding and I am so excited for the two of them. Martha looked absolutely gorgeous! The wedding was in Monroe, LA so Preston and I headed out Friday afternoon to start the festivities. The rehearsal dinner was so yummy and we got to hear alot of nice things about both Martha and Will. Of course, Preston made me do the toast for both of us. Thats ok though!! The next day I was so excited to spend the day with Martha getting our hair done and make-up done!! We all had such a good time laughing and talking about all the good times we had all had together. After they got married, we headed to the reception to dance the night away to Ben Shaw. It started out normal with wedding cake and wine. As we were dancing, the lights in the Country Club went out. We found out that it was the transformer and the lights were not going to come back on. Although it was not what Martha and Will planned, we had a GREAT time anyway and would not have changed it for the world. They brought in a saxophone and drums so that she could do the Louisana tradition of a money dance. She texted me after she left the wedding and told me that she made 508 dollars. I am not making this a MISSISSIPPI tradition because that is AWESOME!! Although I am going to miss talking to her everyday, I hope they have a great time in Mexico and I can't wait to see her when she comes home!!
