Washington D.C.

I just got back in town from my vacation with the family to Washington, D.C. We had a really great time!! I am really tired and definitely glad to be home!! We spent alot of our time walking from one attraction to the next. (As most of you guys know, I have been dieting for the last couple of months. I have lost around 25 pounds. I gave up the diet this week because I was definitely walking off the pounds I consumed!!!) On the way home, I think we decided that we had seen 33 of the attractions there!! WOW!! It makes me tired thinking about it. Here are some of the pictures that we took on the trip:

This picture was taken at the Bureau for Engraving and Printing. This is actually one million dollars in ten dollar bills. I would not mind having that stack of cash.

I have always thought it was funny how people joked about needing a vacation after they have been on vacation, but now I know the feeling and I am going to get another vacation. Preston and I are leaving on Monday to go to Destin for the week. His family all went on Friday and we are going to be joining on Monday (Preston had to take a final). I am really excited about the trip for two reasons!! First, I am excited about getting to spend some time with Preston's family. We always have a good time together and I am excited about getting to spend a week with them. I have always felt like family to them and I really was excited when they included me on the family vacation. Thanks guys!! Also, I have not been to Destin that I can remember. I am sure I have passed by it or something but I do not remember going. I think it will be a lot of fun! I will post when we get back with pictures and things!!
